AzurConf, 2018 to 2021

AzurConf was an annual community conference focused on Microsoft Azure. I founded it in 2018, built it from scratch, and ran it as lead organizer through 2021.

The idea was straightforward: Azure practitioners need a space where real project experience gets shared, without a sales agenda. No vendor keynotes, no polished pitch decks. Talks by people who use Azure every day, for people who do the same.

I owned the entire event end-to-end: concept, program, speaker selection, content production, and video recording. Every edition ran as a fully self-organized format, without a conference agency and without a large budget.

AzurConf ran for four years. It showed me how community work operates, and that technical depth and accessibility are not in conflict.
